I recently returned to rs gold 2007 following two decades. Was astonished from the graphics reworks and find that RuneScape is alive. However, I looked in websites that show playercounts as time passes and a thing puzzled meOSRS have more active players compared to RS3, like the double more. When folks talk about the nostalgia and etc. I see some point in a few runescape players wish to stay with osrs. However, the matter is that new players are coming to OSRS. How is that possible? Being RS3 the partial free to play match, how can you OSRS have new players coming? My thougts: bots may play a part in this, and also these discrepancies are an evidence how the challenge is severe.

OSRS is more like the manner of game Runescape has been during its peak of popularity when it comes to gameplay/graphical style. There aren't any MTX in OSRS (besides bonds?), a lot of people feel that makes RuneScape more real. They put updates to a vote giving the community the choice on what needs to be contained or not. Quite often the mod staff is engaged with really paying attention to customers' feedback, and at times they've gotten upgrades that were more consistent than RS3. I'm not an OSRS player, but from the outside it definitely appears like a fire job.

Simply put, the majority of men and women stop RS3 of combat for the wildy removal/free trade removal 2 chief reasons and evolution. Then a continuous stream of mtx started crawling, meaning people jumped ship, subsequently osrs happened and individuals joined for nostalgia, then great big updates stored occurring, meaning as long as they dont mess up there's not any reason for people to stop, too many people on osrs stop RS3 in the past so they would talk negative about it anyone fresh trying osrs wouldnt touch the"pay to win terrible combat dead game money cow" no matter how far RuneScape as come because eoc published, the only news about RS3 reaches osrs from people who'd benefit from it or show intense cases of mad fashionscape, or individuals who cease RS3 and bad mouth its own lack of upgrades or mtx or what not.

Add to that popular content creators that were making RS3 content hopped to the more popular game leading to even less policy, its also a meme to despise RS3, the 1 time osrs was down and people were"forced" to play RS3 that the streamers went on regular acc, did a quest and got keys saw they obtained like 1-4 assault or something from lamp and logged out laughing how op those things were p2w dead game. Add to this good and consistent upgrades, community voted upgrades, active community, and people stay for osrs, yes robots are a significant amount of the player count but nowhere near what people make it out to be.

No more EoC / MTX, that is so severely hated that individuals would abandon years of account progress and start more than level 3 just to prevent. Less lousy new player experience in osrs because RS3 is complicated and the tutorial does not cover enough, and the vents at RS3 can be a pain if you are new. RS3 looks empty to fresh players because veteran players are largely high level and congregated in particular locations that new players can't access, while osrs looks populated because their slow xp rates mean low level players really exist, so buy rs3 gold fresh people probably feel less alone over there.
