After the first crystal has been located, players are granted their Medivh's Echo buff. This buff gives the player 6 minutes to get to the final. From here crystals will also increase the timer of the player.

The second soul fragment lies just before the players get to the Maiden , who doesn't require to go down. After taking out Morose players should discover the third. Four is located in the spider room before reaching the doorway to the stairs. If players are able to do so to do so, the final Soul Fragment can be found in the Nightbane's room following defeat of the Curator.

Once the player has grabbed the last crystal after which their buff changes towards Medivh's Presence. This will grant the player five minutes in which to talk to Medivh or summon Nightbane.
