Hesuta African Hunting Safaris is based on the Farm Badfontein near the town Douglas in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. This area is malaria-free and our hunting camp is easily accessible from all provinces in South Africa and only a 50 minute flight from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Kimberley for International travelers.
Douglas is well-known for the merging of two of the biggest rivers in the country, the Orange River and the Vaal River, creating a spectacular landscape. Hesuta African Hunting Safaris originated from our love for nature, farming and the outdoor life. What started as a lifestyle farm developed into a hobby and eventually into a successful hunting company. At Hesuta African Hunting Safaris we offer a wide variety of plains game species such as Springbuck and Wildebeest as well as bigger game such as the Cape Buffalo, Sable, Livingstone Eland, Gemsbuck (also known as Oryx) and Roan for hunting.
