Climate change: 1.5 degrees Celsius breach is inevitable now, says IPCC report
New Delhi: The writing was already on the wall for quite some time. It’s only now that the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group-I (WGI) report released on Monday has put a stamp on it, warning that a 1.5 degree Celsius breach is now inevitable in the next two decades unless there is a drastic move to eliminate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission.
