Our smallest DX2W-3 cubes can accommodate two 4 or 5-ton outdoor heat pumps to create 8 & 10-ton systems easily. Although there are four refrigeration connections on the back of the units, there are only two hydronic connections for the buffer tank, eliminating a lot of time, space, and materials in the mechanical room. These units also have an integrated 3-way diversion and mixing valve which, like our wall-hung units, provides better control over hot and chilled water temperatures as needed.
