Practical elderly weight loss strategies

The Seniors weight loss site shares my personal journey. After becoming complacent for some time, my weight climbed to 220 lbs. Standing at 5'10", I should ideally weigh around 175 lbs. By cutting out soda, reducing sweets, eating in moderation, and incorporating daily exercise, I've managed to bring my weight down to 200 lbs. However, I still struggle with my love for sweets. Despite having successfully quit drinking, drugs, and cigarettes, cutting back on sweets has been incredibly challenging. I exercise almost every day, walking at least 2 miles daily. On alternate days, I lift dumbbells and do floor and stretching exercises.
