The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) is the legal code of the United States military. If you are a service member in any branch of the armed forces, it establishes laws that you must follow. Over 100 distinct punitive offences are listed in the UCMJ, each with a maximum sentence and some with a mandatory minimum sentence.
