  • What is alkaline water?
    The pH of water is neutral, around pH 7. Chemicals and gases  change this and make it  acidic or  alkaline. The pH of rainwater is slightly lower than neutral due to the presence of carbon dioxide from the air, which increases acidity. The pH of acidic substances is less than 7.0 to zero. Vinegar has a pH of  3, lemon juice has a pH of 2, and battery acid has a pH of 1....
