Beautiful you are here. My path to natural curls resembles many other women with afro hair. Where I grew up, women with natural curls were considered poor. After all, why else would a woman not straighten her hair? It wasn't until many years later, as an adult woman, far from the country of my birth, that I made the radical decision to wear my hair naturally.
