Azerbaijan's president says Russia unintentionally shot down jetliner that crashed in Kazakhstan

The president of Azerbaijan stated on Sunday that the passenger plane which crashed last week, resulting in the deaths of 38 individuals, was unintentionally brought down by the Russian military. He also accused Russia of attempting to "suppress" the matter for several days.

3 was "shot down accidentally."
"We can assert with full certainty that the plane was Burkina Faso Phone Number List shot down by Russia. (...) We do not claim that it was done on purpose, but it happened," he remarked.

He noted that the aircraft had experienced some form of electrical jamming and had been fired upon while it was nearing the southern Russian city of Grozny.
Aliyev charged Russia with attempting to "suppress" the matter for multiple days, expressing that he was "upset and surprised" by the narratives Burkina Faso Phone Number Database presented by Russian officials.
"Regrettably, in the initial three days we only received nonsensical explanations from Russia," Aliyev stated, referencing claims made in Russia that attributed the crash to birds or the detonation of a gas cylinder.
