1. Read and write as much as you can

Remember that the most important thing is not to understand absolutely everything you read, but that you get the context of the action.

2. Learn through movies, youtube, or games

Watching a film in English without Norwegian subtitles can be a nice variation when you learn the language. Choose movies that you think are exciting or fun, and they will be easier to follow. If it is difficult to understand what is being said, you can turn on English subtitles.

If you are active on youtube or listening to podcasts, you may also want to subscribe to podcasts or youtube channels in English. This can be an entertaining way to learn more.

3. Read aloud and use the language

Practice reading and speaking English aloud to yourself, preferably in front of the mirror. Try your hand at pronunciation and do not be afraid to make mistakes. You can also read aloud to someone in your family, friends, or others you know. This is good training before performances and reading aloud in class.

Can you and someone in the family or a friend speak a little English together sometimes? Agree, for example, that you will only speak English together for half an hour.
