In Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Enir-Ilim stands as the final legacy dungeon, an imposing and intricate region filled with powerful enemies and significant lore. Located northwest of Belurat, you can only reach Enir-Ilim after defeating Romina, Saint of the Bud, and burning the Sealing Tree.

Reaching Enir-Ilim
To access Enir-Ilim, players must first defeat Messmer the Impaler in Shadow Keep and then head to the Rauh Ruins. Within the ruins lies the Church of the Bud, where you will face Romina, Saint of the Bud. After defeating Romina, you’ll find the Sealing Tree behind her arena. By burning this tree with Messmer’s Kindling, you’ll trigger a cutscene that transports you to the Enir-Ilim region.

Burn the Sealing Tree
Burning the Sealing Tree is a pivotal moment in the DLC. After acquiring Messmer’s Kindling, make your way to the Church of the Bud in the western Rauh Ruins. Romina, Saint of the Bud, guards the Sealing Tree, and you must defeat her to proceed. After the fight, approach the tree and burn it to unlock the path to Enir-Ilim.

Enir-Ilim: First Steps
Upon arrival, you’ll start at the Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall Site of Grace. There’s a Somber Smithing Stone nearby to the west. Deal with the threat and proceed up the stairs to the First Rise Site of Grace.
