What to Do if Sir Ansbach Is Not Giving the Letter
If Sir Ansbach does not give you the letter after resting, talk to Elden Ring Items Freyja again before returning to Ansbach. This will often resolve the issue.

Deliver the letter to Freyja to continue her quest, and she will reward you with the Golden Lion Shield. Afterward, return to Ansbach to inform him of Freyja’s reaction to the letter.

Defending Ansbach Against Leda
After completing Ansbach’s quests in Shadow Keep, head to the Highroad Cross Site of Grace, located outside Castle Ensis. Speak with Leda, who will reveal her intention to hunt Ansbach.

Go back to Ansbach’s hideaway in Shadow Keep. You’ll find a red summon marker and a gold summon marker.
