Hey everyone! I wanted to share something really useful, which I found – how to work with Office 365 for free. Everyone understands how useful applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are, but purchasing them is somewhat complicated. Here is how I am able to receive all those advantages without paying a dime.

The simplest way to begin with Office 365 is to work with the web apps of the software. Here’s my quick hack:

Visit Office. com: It is as easy as opening your browser and typing Office. com.

Sign In/Create an Account: If you have an account with Microsoft like Outlook or Hotmail, then you are required to sign in. Otherwise, the creation of one is free and simple.

Access Apps: It means that you can use Word, Excel, Power Point and many others directly in the browser. These web versions are quite robust and quite suitable for most purposes.

This option gives free access for basic functionality which in many cases is enoigh for simple tasks.

The second cool trick is to use the free trial of Office 365 that Microsoft provides to its users.

It is suitable when the project will only take a short duration of time to complete.

Visit the Trial Page: Open Microsoft Office 365 trial page.

Sign Up: Please go to the Try 1 month free tab and follow the link. You will have to fill in payment details but do not fear, if you cancel before the trial is over, you will not be charged.

Download and Install: You will be able to fully use Office 365 for download and installation purposes.

The third trick is Education Perks. If you are a student or teacher then there are chances that you might get the Office 365 for free through your school. Here’s how:

Check the Office 365 Education Page: Open Office 365 Education.

Enter School Email: Your school email can tell you if you’re eligible.

Follow Instructions: If so, then all you have to do is to complete the steps to create your free account if you meet the requirements.

The fifth is Free Alternatives. Sometimes I mix it up with free alternatives that are just as good for many tasks:

Google Workspace: All of these, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides are great and the best part is they are free.

LibreOffice: This free version contains the word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.

Zoho Office Suite: Yet another great free source for all your needs in an office.

The last trick doesn't provide you access for free, however, would help to save a good amount of money. You can look for pre-owned licenses, which have the same functionality but are sold at reduced prices. You can save 15% on Office 365 by choosing a second-handed license.

Well, that just about wraps it up! These tips have been very useful to me and I wished they would to you as well. Yes, it is entirely possible to use Office 365 for free with these hacks – be it the online versions, the free trials, the mobile apps, or the educational subscriptions. Also, the free versions of the same tools are good to use as backup options.
