Course Overview
Upon successful completion of our Working at Heights course, participants will be able to identify fall hazards and implement appropriate safety measures. The primary goal of this course is to educate workers on their rights and responsibilities, ensure safe practices at heights in compliance with regulatory requirements, and teach the selection, inspection, and proper use of industry-standard fall arrest equipment, including harnesses and lanyards.

Fall Protection Systems
  • Recognition and elimination of fall hazards
  • Working alone and the Hierarchy of Control Measures
  • Regulations for fall prevention and workplace inspections
Fall Prevention Measures
  • Guardrails, protective covers, warning barriers, and travel restraint systems
  • Fall protection systems and personal protective equipment
  • Selection, inspection, setup of fall protection equipment, and anchor points
  • Emergency rescue procedures and suspension trauma
Access Equipment
  • Use of ladders, scaffolds, powered elevating work platforms, and suspended access equipment
  • Workplace-specific training
Certification
Upon successfully completing this 8-hour training session, participants will receive a certificate approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO).

Breaks and Lunch
The course includes several 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. Participants should make their own arrangements for lunch.
