Alamodome is a domed multipurpose arena, situated in 100 Montana Streets, San Antonio. Alamodome was the house arena to San Antonio Spurs (NBA) from 1993 into 2002, in Addition to San Antonio Texans of CFL because the year 1995. At the moment, it's the house into the University of Texas Roadrunners (NCAA). Since its introduction, it has hosted important events such as Alamo Bowl football match that held yearly, NCCA championship games for volleyball and Football in addition to men's and women's Football Final Four. Alamodome was a coaching camp website to its Dallas Cowboys for six decades. Other exceptional sports like baseball, hockey, skating and American soccer have been run in Alamodome. Several renovations have occurred to improve the visual appeal of the scene to give it a more contemporary look.
Significance
- Paul McCartney's"The New World Tour" concert has been held in 1993 as the first significant event since the official introduction.
- The"Dallas Stars" conquered the"Los Angeles Kings" in 2 successive NHL pre-season matches, held in 1994 and 1995.
- In 1997, American movie director Gregory Nava picked Alamodome set up of Astrodome because of his biopic"Selena".
- The NBA All-Star sport in 1996 was ran in Alamodome.
- It's hosted three guys's NCCA Final Four basketball games, the first being in 1998 that has been won by Kentucky.
