The Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) is a trade organization focused on accelerating the adoption of innovative healthcare technologies to improve health care and support personal health. Our activities include highlighting innovations and gadgets for treating diabetes and erectile dysfunction.

Our mission is to foster open programs that encourage constructive dialogue among committed individuals and organizations, leading to the development and deployment of multidisciplinary healthcare solutions. WLSA measures success by these solutions.

Our community includes CEOs, senior executives, entrepreneurs, companies, foundations, educational institutions, scientists, physicians, and policymakers. We aim to enhance global health by promoting technologies that help manage chronic conditions and improve the lives of the elderly and underserved populations.

WLSA hosts unique events, offers ongoing guidance and matchmaking, conducts educational activities, and has initiated policies focused on empowering healthcare consumers.

Since its founding in 2005 with support from Qualcomm, Johnson & Johnson, and Triple Tree, WLSA has prioritized achievements and innovations in wireless health.

Why San Diego?

San Diego is a hub of global technology markets, particularly in wireless technologies and healthcare innovations. This makes it an ideal location for dialogue among companies, professionals, academia, and investors on the convergence of wireless technologies, life sciences, and consumer health.

What’s Next?

Creative thinking, collaboration, and discussion are essential for technological innovation and market growth. WLSA is dedicated to fostering relationships, cross-sector education, and business opportunities to accelerate the convergence of these dynamic sectors.

For information on joining the Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance or attending an event, please contact Devon Tolliver at dtolliver@wirelesslifesciences.org.

Note on Terminology

Various terms describe the influence of technology on healthcare: "mobile," "digital," "wireless," and "electronic" health. WLSA prefers "connected health" to best describe the value created at the intersection of technology and healthcare, including mobile infrastructure, digital information, big data, cloud systems, and behavioral economics. Technology is the enabler; good health is the goal.
