The Nike KD 14 Releases In April
A sizable chunk of Kevin Durant's season has been stripped from him due to his aggravating hamstring injury, but while he rests on the sidelines, he's taking this opportunity to generate some noise off the floor by unveiling his newest signature shoe: the Nike KD 14. The new silhouette is vastly different from the KD 13, and features a duo of lockdown elements that are blended up with playfully styled uppers.
For his newest offering, the Brooklyn Nets' superstar elects to cop his new model down to a mid-profile and employs a two-layered upper that features a synthetic underlay and abstract overlapping patterns. This Air Jordan 11 Low Legend Blue fills in the former with a punchy orange hue, while the latter contrasts in stark black. Perhaps the most intriguing component of the shoe is the mid-foot as it brings back the lockdown strap akin to the KD 4 and KD 7, as well as ushers in a medial side cage that is reminiscent of the Nike Air Presto. Below the Presto-inspired piece, tonal tally marks add up to 14 to nod to his newest model. More details to point out include that of KD's logo that rests on the tongues, in addition to the synthetic heel counters that are embedded with wave-like textures.
Similar to that of Paul George's Nike models, this hardwood-ready proposal brings in a full-length Zoom Air strobile cushioning system. From FavSole.com
