I am averaging the market and eve echoes isk lowest sell because on average the market column seems to be inflated and so the typical seems to give more accurate results. Of course all of these are estimates and your mileage may vary based upon the local market in your town. I will continue to keep an eye on the costs and adjust the calculations when there appears to be greater pattern.
Is it possible to create some type of filter here to drop from calculation ores that I do not have wide access to? I would also include the Eve Lowest Compare price. The market is very competitive and items generally do not sell in the Eve-Echoes-Market cost. Also some things have a 3-4 hour window until they are updated. Since the sector is very volatile it makes for list the right prices difficult without needing to start the market page to look at the current competitive selling cost.

Definitely. I utilized lowest market last couple days and it is not a good indicator of overall market price. Yes it could be at that price during a few hours due to individuals selling competing or off but generally the market goes thru ups/downs due to supply/demand. Taking the average between lowest and market cost is not to great either for items that are volatile that have big swings. With ships the costs most likely don't swing as much but that I haven't watched the marketplace on boats.
