Step 1: Prepare Your Skin: Start by prepping your skin with a moisturizer to ensure a smooth canvas. Allow the moisturizer to fully absorb before moving on to the next step.  

Step 2: Apply Foundation -Even out your skin tone by applying a foundation that matches your complexion. You can use a liquid foundation or a cream foundation, depending on your preference. Blend it well using a foundation brush or sponge to achieve a seamless finish.  

Step 3: Choose the Right Highlighter Shade - Select a highlighter shade that complements your Indian skin tone. For fairer skin tones, champagne or pale gold shades work well, while deeper skin tones can opt for bronze or rose gold tones. For Indian skin tones, avoid highlighters with excessive silver undertones, as they may appear ashy on Indian skin.   

Step 4: Determine the Highlighter Placement - Identify the high points of your face that naturally catch the light. These areas include the cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose, Cupid's bow, and the inner corners of the eyes. Also, depending on your personal preference, you can choose to highlight all or select a few of these areas.  

Step 5: Pick the Right Highlighter Brush - For a precise application, never use your fingertips; instead choose a small to medium-sized highlighting brush with soft, fluffy bristles. This will allow for controlled placement and seamless blending.  

Step 6: Apply the Highlighter - Dip your brush into the highlighter and tap off any excess product. Lightly sweep the brush onto the areas you want to highlight using a gentle hand. Build up the intensity gradually, focusing on blending the product seamlessly into the skin for a natural-looking glow.  

Step 7: Blend well - To avoid harsh lines and ensure a seamless finish, use a clean blending brush or a beauty sponge to softly blend the highlighter. Gently buff the edges of the highlighter, blending it into the surrounding skin for a soft and diffused effect.  

Step 8: Set Your Makeup - To prolong the longevity of your highlighter, lightly dust a translucent setting powder over your face, focusing on the areas where the highlighter is applied. This will help to set the makeup while still allowing the glow to shine through.
