According to the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) report 2019-20, there are 5,974 colleges offering undergraduate courses in management across India. Out of these, 2,149 colleges offer BBA programs. This indicates that BBA is one of the most popular undergraduate courses in India.

Number of BBA Graduates:

The number of BBA graduates has been increasing steadily over the years. According to the AISHE report 2019-20, a total of 3,88,452 students graduated with a bachelor's degree in management (which includes BBA) during the academic year 2018-19. This is an increase from the previous year's figure of 3,64,115.

Gender-wise Distribution:

The gender-wise distribution of BBA graduates is not equal. According to the AISHE report 2019-20, out of the total number of students who graduated with a bachelor's degree in management (which includes BBA), 2,08,438 were male and 1,80,014 were female. This indicates that there are more male BBA graduates than female. 

State-wise Distribution:

The distribution of BBA graduates across different states in India varies widely. According to the AISHE report 2019-20, the top five states with the highest number of BBA graduates are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and West Bengal. These states account for more than 50% of the total number of BBA graduates in India.

Employment Opportunities:

BBA graduates have a wide range of employment opportunities in various industries such as finance, marketing, human resources, and operations. According to a survey conducted by Aspiring Minds, a leading employability assessment company in India, BBA graduates have a higher employability rate compared to other undergraduate courses.

The survey found that 57% of BBA graduates were employable in management roles, which is higher than the employability rate of other undergraduate courses such as BA (47%), B.Com (42%), and B.Sc (37%).

BBA is one of the most popular undergraduate courses in India. The number of BBA graduates has been increasing steadily over the years. However, there is a gender imbalance in the distribution of BBA graduates. The employment opportunities for BBA graduates are vast and varied across various industries.
