Students applying under SDS category must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Admission to a full-time program in a publicly-funded post-secondary institution such as universities, colleges, institutes or CEGEP

An IELTS score with a minimum band of 6 for each ability (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) taken within the past two years

Purchase of a special Guaranteed Investment Certificate(GIC) (from Scotiabank) of CAD $10,000 to cover living expenses for the first year of stay in Canada

Proof of payment of the tuition fee for one (1) year

Upfront medical examination at least one week before submission of the application.    

This is the first and probably the most important step in the entire process of applying to universities abroad. Once the profile is evaluated, choice of course, university & country becomes extremely easy & greatly helps in shortlisting universities.

Once your course, university and country are shortlisted, we would start your application and admission process. This would include sharing list of documents required for applications, arranging them as per university requirements, filling application forms and uploading all the documents. Once applications are made, we keep track of them and take action whenever necessary. Regular updates would be provided on the progress of the above.

Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Letter of Recommendation (LOR) are extremely important for most of the applications. They play a very important role in admission decision alongwith the academic marks. Statement of purpose also helps in availing scholarships. Letter of recommendation can be academic or professional or both (depends upon university to university). Scholarships are given to students on the basis of merit. Countries like Ireland, UK, New Zealand, France, Germany, etc are scholarship friendly countries. Most of the scholarships are granted to students alongwith their offer letter. For a few countries, apart from normal scholarship, a separate application for more scholarship is also required. Scholarships are given to offer holders only, hence, it is always advisable to apply early to avail them. Sometimes, they get over as early as 8 months before the intake start date.
