Kurt Wehrle was born in Germany and moved to the United States when he was a young man. He attended Stanford University and received a degree in computer science. After graduating, he and a friend founded Rackspace, a web-hosting company, in 1998. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the most successful cloud computing providers in the world. Wehrle has been instrumental in the growth and success of Rackspace, and he currently serves as its CEO.
