The Hollywood diet

The diet belongs to the low-calorie diets of 1200 - 1500 kcal. The daily calorie count does not have to be reduced drastically from the beginning of the treatment, but can be done gradually, e.g. by 200 kcal every week. 

This allows you to get used to smaller portions of food without feeling hungry. In addition, the menu should include the following ingredients: natural yoghurt, onions, bran, yeast, sprouts.

During the first week of the diet, only fruit is eaten (e.g. 3 grapefruits, 750 g strawberries, 250 g dried or fresh plums). During the second and third week, vegetables, lean meat and cereal products are introduced.

Eggs and milk are prohibited. Food is not salted. There should be a one hour break between eating different types of fruit and a two hour break between fruit and meat. As with any weight loss diet, drink non-carbonated mineral water or weak bitter tea. The Hollywood diet is poor in nutrients, so it should be followed with caution.

Example:

I breakfast:

4 teaspoons of wheat grains blended with a teaspoon of honey, lemon juice,
teaspoon of natural yoghurt and 3 chopped hazelnuts.

Second breakfast:

2 slices of wholemeal or wholemeal bread - no butter, 0.5 cups of
of fresh sprouts and choice of: 100g lean white cheese, 50g smoked
lean fish, hard boiled egg.

Lunch:

150g cooked or grilled chicken, slice of wholemeal bread,
half a head of lettuce.

Afternoon snack:

Natural yoghurt or kefir.

Dinner:

2 cups raw or cooked vegetables with vinaigrette dressing, sprinkled with 2
sprinkled with 2 tbsp bran.
