You are right if you think that becoming a doctor is difficult enough, but some of the day-to-day challenges that come with the job truly put it all into perspective. We, doctors, have to deal with a lot, from administrative duties to foot pain. Here are some of the problems that we dealt with on a daily basis at the hospital.

Administrative Duties: We spend around 8 to 7 hours per week on administration. It is believed that the time would be better spent on the patients, but we also have duties in the admin section that we have to deal with.

Dehydration: With the 40-60 hours of shift work on a weekly basis, it's difficult for us to find time for a break. It's common to go for extended periods without appropriate nourishment or time to drink, which can be harmful to our long-term health.

Pronunciation: I may have to ask patients to pronounce their names for me at times. It's difficult, especially because I don't want to misspell my patient's name.

Disobedient Patients: Becoming a doctor necessitates a diverse range of talents. One of them is persuasion. Admittedly, this not only takes time away from my day, but it also takes time away from my other patients who are in need.

Foot Pain: We work for over 40-60 hour weeks on average. It's common for me to feel pain in my feet, causing agonizing foot aches throughout the day.

You see, in my profession, I don’t only deal with my patients but also with other things in the hospital. So, if you see me sometimes stressed and frustrated, I would want to ask for a little patience for me. I am a doctor, and I have many things to deal with. But of course, my patients are still my priority.
