My now-husband and I met in Downtown Greenville. We were both out celebrating our birthdays (we found that our birthdays are 2 days apart!) My friends and the friends also knew one another so we wound up hanging out that night likely at different bars and merely having a good time. As the night ended, I told him he was cute, and I gave him the largest hug along with a kiss around the cheek. I honestly didn’t think I would see him again the next night. Well, I'm happy to report, that I ran into him again at my friend’s birthday dinner. Ever since that night Oct 15, 2017, we've been inseparable!

It was Christmas 2019. We were opening gifts. After all our gifts were opened, he reminded me to check on my stocking. I then start to pull random items from my stocking, and right at the end of the stocking would be a little black box. I opened this area and immediately got shaky. He had a large grin on his face as I’m taking a look at this beautiful ring! He then inquired about marrying him, and I couldn’t do anything whatsoever but stand in shock. But I eventually said YES! Turned out to be the very best Christmas ever!

We both have birthdays in the fall, and it’s the most popular time of year, therefore we wanted a fall feel and look for our wedding. We chose fall colors and decided to have the wedding outdoors plus size wedding dresses to possess the beautiful fall leaves and flowers part of our look.

My favorite detail was my veil. It was purchased in feeltimes and was outlined with diamonds. It was different and unique!
