April and Dan tied the knot in the Cooper Creek Event Center in Blue Ash, Ohio. Their wedding didn’t come with an exact theme but was centered around the thought of being a joyous celebration for those their family and friends as the couple have been together for 8. five years before the marriage. A-line/Princess Sleeveless Long/Floor-Length Jersey Bridesmaid Dress With Pleated We wanted somewhere which was new and modern although not too edgy, somewhere having a clean design that was pretty but neutral enough to utilize whatever crazy decor I decided to include. The ballroom has these huge windows that let a variety of natural sunlight in, which I love, and also the dance floor was the largest we had seen (extremely important since we like to dance!). There is also a gorgeous setting to have an outdoor ceremony, which we've got to utilize because of the weather held! Finally, right now we live in Philadelphia, therefore we wanted to choose a venue having a trustworthy and responsive staff to assist us to pull everything together, plus they were absolutely fabulous. I wanted the decor to simply be very fun and happy and "springy" to reflect the celebratory nature during the day. I more often than not wear prints (mostly floral), and when I wear solids they are always bright and happy, so I wanted the marriage to reflect that. I don't possess a favorite color because I like it a lot, even though tradition suggests your bridesmaids all wear exactly the same color and you choose the main color for that decor by having an accent color or two, I decided that I could pick as numerous colors as I wanted, so long as I place them together cautiously! We basically ended up having a rainbow wedding with garden party/watercolor accents that suited us perfectly. I was first overjoyed that people could have the outdoor ceremony that we'd planned, underneath the arbor my father built us from trees within our backyard. Our ceremony was particularly memorable because we chose to possess a secular ceremony but desired to infuse it with aspects unique to us to help keep with the celebratory nature during the day. My grandma and my 4 great aunts sang to us, we'd 2 friends from college told our love story right from the start and 1 more recent friend read an attractive poem, and Dan even surprised me by reading a poem called "Always Marry an April Girl" by Ogden Nash (which I could swear was written for me personally even though he died 45 years back), complete having a mic drop in the end! The sunshine finally gave way to torrential sun showers during our first dance, and we even got a rainbow within the venue, ideal for our rainbow wedding! At the chance of sounding cliche, it had been the cherry along with a - dare I say - perfect day! white bridesmaid dresses.
