As we enter Week 3 of the  Mut 22 coins 2021-22 NFL season, EA has updated Madden 22's rosters to reflect the Week 2's performances. This week's update did not have significant surprises, however, some players who stood out saw improvements in their ratings.

Most notable was the two-point increase in Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski's overall rating. He's now gone from an 86 overall launch rating to an 89 overall rating within only two weeks. And , honestly, he's definitely deserving of this. Gronk has already racked up 12 receptions, scoring 129 yards and four touchdowns within two weeks. He's playing at his best in the beginning of the year and it's my guess that it's not the last of his ratings rises.

Another big name to get ratings boosts is Kansas City Chiefs strong safety Tyrann Mathieu. After missing the first game due to an positive COVID test Mathieu made his season debut against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. It was quite a memorable debut was, with Honey Badger recording two interceptions and one of them Mathieu returned for scoring. Mathieu's Awareness rating and catch rate increase by one point to a 99 and an 82 respectively. Overall, his score is at 96.

Following a rebounding performance in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Titans running back Derrick Henry saw some ratings altered, but still stands at the 96 mark overall. Henry's rating at the start of his career caught many people off guard as most supporters believe that he's the top running back in the league. He certainly made a strong case for his position with 182 yards of rushing and three touchdowns in Week 2. Henry's catch increased to two points and a 64 but his break tackle, which was a surprise, dropped three points , bringing his total to 92.

Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers halfback) is worth watching. He was injured by a hamstring injury against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. Although injuries rarely affect the player's ratings in Madden however, it'll be fascinating to find out if Henry could replace him as the best back for the team in Madden 22.
