• What city transportation is available in Pittsburgh? 

Buses play a major role in the public transportation system in Pittsburgh. The ticket price starts at $2.50. Pittsburgh also has a well-developed taxi service. However, the best way to get around the city and its outskirts is by car. 

There are dozens of car rental companies operating in the city and at the airport. Rent a car, but be very careful on the roads. The best time to visit Pittsburgh is in the fall, namely September and October. The weather is still warm, but autumn colors are beginning to prevail in the canopy of the hills surrounding the city. 

You will have wonderful autumnal landscape views if you take a car ride on one of the suburban highways. Also, autumn is still a great time to go cycling or just take a walk along the river, visit Point State Park, a baseball game, or a concert at one of the outdoor stadiums.

• What places you shouldn’t miss in Pittsburgh? 

Pittsburgh is a very green city with many parks and squares. Be sure to visit Schenley Park - a great place to walk, exercise, or just read a book. Here you will find shady green alleys, several playgrounds, a swimming pool, jogging tracks, and a frisbee golf course. In the summertime, the park hosts open-air film screenings. 

Once in the city center, take a stroll through Point Park. Whether in summer or winter, the view opening from the park is simply inspiring. In addition, here you can admire the city's landmark - a large old fountain. 

Heinz Field is also clearly visible from the park. Sports fans will find it interesting to visit the baseball game at the PNC Park stadium. The spectacle will undoubtedly be a pleasure for everyone regardless of age.

• Walk along the city embankment. Here you will find many cozy cafes and restaurants, interesting shops, sights, and even a stadium. In addition, the waterfront offers a gorgeous panoramic view of Pittsburgh, so it would be a great idea to admire it from one of the waterfront restaurants. 
• Be sure to enjoy the funicular ride along the oldest routes in the United States. The existing 19th-century trailers have survived to this day. The almost 200-meters-long road route leads to the observation deck, where you can contemplate the whole city at a glance. Among other things, this observation deck offers views of the famous central part of the city called the Golden Triangle of Pittsburgh. 
• Visit the Andy Warhol Museum, a pop-art setting dedicated to the life and work of the famous American artist, writer, magazine publisher, and filmmaker.
