BESCHRIJVING
Hamams - ook wel Turkse en/of oosterse stoombaden genoemd - zijn een plek waar mensen zich kunnen wassen, ontspannen en socializen. De hamam is ontstaan uit de badhuizen en thermale baden van het Romeinse en Byzantijnse Rijk. Een traditionele hamam bestaat uit drie kamers die met elkaar verbonden zijn: een warme kamer (caldarium), een warme kamer (tepidarium) en een koele kamer (frigidarium). De warme kamer, het stoombad, is bedoeld voor zweten in de stoom en voor voortdurende scrub- en schuimmassages. De warme ruimte wordt gebruikt om te wassen met water en zeep. De koele ruimte, de huidige ontspanningsruimte, is er om te ontspannen, je aan te kleden, een verfrissend drankje te drinken en een

een dutje te doen na de massage.

HAMAM
In de hamams van Cleopatra zijn alle bovenstaande functies geïntegreerd: je kunt er stomen, ontspannen en douchen in dezelfde ruimte. Dit bij een kamertemperatuur van 40 0C. De cabines zijn gemaakt van modulaire panelen en/of kunnen structureel in elkaar worden gezet, wat installatiegemak garandeert. Het is uniek omdat het op verschillende aspecten kan worden gepersonaliseerd: de kleur, de banken, de soorten deuren en natuurlijk zijn de afmetingen instelbaar. Je kiest ook de verlichting en de mogelijke doucheopties. De cabines zijn duurzaam, gemakkelijk te onderhouden en veilig voor de gebruiker.

De Cleopatra Hamam is ontwikkeld met de professionele gebruiker in gedachten: de cabine is duurzaam, gemakkelijk te onderhouden en veilig voor de gebruiker.

The park is adjacent to Uganda’s Mgahinga National Park and Congo’s Virunga National Park. The Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda has been made famous as the monument of Dian Fossey (the great primatologist) and as home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas and the elusive golden monkeys. The volcanoes national park was first established as a park in 1925 as part of the wider Virunga Conservation area to protect the endangered mountain gorillas around Mount Mikeno, Karisimbi, and Bisoke. After some time its boundaries were marked to be part of only Rwanda. By 1967, the park became famous around the world as the base of Dian Fossey.

She worked tooth and nail to protect the mountain gorillas in the park and informed the world about their plight and possible extinction. Although she was murdered in 1967, Fossey is still remembered for establishing groundbreaking discoveries in gorilla research, and not being her efforts, it is believed that mountain gorillas would be extinct by now. Besides Mountain gorillas and golden monkeys, the Volcanoes National Park is also a habitat for the black-fronted duiker, bushbucks, elephants, forest buffalos, and the spotted hyena, and over 178 bird species are recorded in the park.
