Aion is my most favourite MMORPG ever and if Gameforge brings a classic version to EU I will be paying any price for it. As it stands out, I won't be playing NA as the combat is quite ping-reliant and aion classic kinah that I take pleasure in the scout classes the most (Ranger and Assassin).

I mean the biggest pro and con is that is a classic server. It is a game published in a period of time where people had different expectations from their mmos. However, it also has its shortcomings out of that. Folks will probably be banking on using a classic experience, but it be distinct because the player base is different. See how min/maxed that the raiding scene became in wow. On KR at least, there's a massive botting problem because the developed scripts for it work. At precisely the exact same time, Ncsoft certainly didn't assist it with its monetization changes. Someone can make thousands of accounts for bots and do not pay a cent with the hour free trial. They also introduced a battlepass with an additional paid option for 25 bucks that give items that can assist you with progression.

I mained glad when the game came out. Glad excels at AoE and knockdowns, among the DP abilities is the AoE knockdown so they aren't bad for team pvp, or fort sieges, they can be very useful tactically. The extendable weapons are 100% the objective. They'll raise your reach a fair piece, which makes it so much more difficult to kite you. I conducted bakarma about 70 times I believe, and never had the spear drop. Though I managed to acquire lannok's, that was extendable but not as great. If I am recalling correctly as well, bakarma's spear does not have atk speed on it, and they didn't allow weapon combining until 1.9 (memory is demanding of releases, but pretty sure that is true ) so it might feel fairly slow compared to your previous weapon, which will probably possess atk speed.

I think Lannok isn't that bad if you can't get the 19 percent ASpd from blending, since you can just change to your knockdown if you actually need it.

Most played classes are looking like cleric and gladiator right now followed by the 2 casters, at least based on this poll in the big Aion classic discord which was linked with this subreddit. Assassin/ranger are polling lower. This might be due to the fact that many of EU players are coming into NA classic, so lots of people are working to select more ping-friendly classes.

Yeah and forget about playing Assassin or Pvp generally (that is the very best part of this game. 150+ ping however good web you have. Some caster courses may be fine but it is def a con. After all EU has many times more players playing and loving Aion, Gameforge just proved to be more shit one more time.

There game was running since November in Korea and there's no p2w money shop for Aion Classic there. While it's entirely possible that there will be one in the NA version of euro aion classic buy kinah this game, there's no evidence for it. Could it eventually change? Sure. However, every game may potentially add significant p2w at any point.
