Script update:

• Fixed an issue that caused receivers to go offsides and run off the field due to using hot routes on auto-moving players
• Fixed an issue that caused defenders to lose position amid "a bunch of nasty cheating moves"
• Fixed an issue that caused the left tackle and TE to collide at the Strong Jumbo PA spot
• Various improvements to the game art in the game call screen

Other game updates:

• Improved passing mechanics added as additional passing settings, also added to hotel suites
• Resolved issue with receiver speed increasing when using custom stems and then using smart routing
  • Development Note: We've made this speed increase more difficult to achieve, and we're working on fixing it in a future title update. Additional changes coming soon will further balance customizable route segments.
• A new Switch Stick latency option has been added to the game settings menu:
  • No delay
  • slight delay
  • big delay
  • Deactivate switch stick
• Updated so that the online kick meter defaults to the new multi-function meter, as well as the default setting in the Hospitality Suite
• Adjusted to reduce pass speed when equipped with speed-based passing ability, Set Feet Lead and Pass Lead Elite
• Adjustments made to increase defensive linemen's chances of sniffing out HB sliding screens
• Addressed an issue where kick returners were unable to reach the ball landing spot within the landing zone, allowing for specific kickoff strategies.
  • Development Note: There are other variations of the kickoff animation in addition to this one, and the team is working to resolve these issues as soon as possible.
• New pursuit logic has been added to further differentiate players with high pursuit levels, and pursuit angles have been improved to provide better players
• After the kickoff leaves the end zone, the ball's position is updated to the 30-yard line
• Added logic so that defenders are not fooled by the double pass trick when using pass submissions
• Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the "Effort" catch to trigger when a pass could be caught
• Fixed an issue that allowed free sprinting in certain blitz settings in Nickel 2-4 Double Cup and Dollar 3-2 Overload
  • Development Note: Similar to launch issues, in addition to the issues fixed in this update, the team is actively working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
• Adjust WR blocks so defensive backs can get out of blocks faster on plays that favor defenders
• Adjusted WR/DB block interaction so that DBs can get out of blocks faster when they have the appropriate rating
• Fixed an issue in Seattle, Miami, and New Orleans stadiums that caused sideline characters to pass through edge walls
• Fixed various minor animation issues in physics-based processing
• Adjustments to reduce RPO penalties for unincorporated frontcourts
• Fixed an issue that allowed HB to get hot routes out of the backfield when aligned at the line of scrimmage
• Fixed a rare issue that caused the quarterback to freeze when tackled during certain handoffs
• Fixed an issue that caused defensive players to be offside due to movement before the tackle in various defensive formations
• Fixed an issue where defenders would sometimes pass through double teams without proper animation
• Fixed an issue that allowed players to use spin moves when using conservative on-ball coaching adjustments

Game development instructions:

• We’ve heard loud and clear the players’ desire for improved pass coverage, and the team is working hard to deliver a series of significant improvements in future game updates. Improvements under investigation include:

  • Covers 3 deep areas
  • Match coverage checks and bundles
  • news animation
  • Adjustment via speed capability
  • Zone drop coaching adjustments
  • In addition to pass coverage, we've made improvements to kickoffs, blitzes, AI-play calls, and rotational movement adjustments.

Franchise

• Fixed an issue with the "Import Draft Categories from Download Center" option being removed from the Franchise League
• Fixed an issue where the wrong player model would be displayed after pausing and resuming the online draft.
• Tweaked some areas using our logic to address issues surrounding simulation statistics, making them more inline

Superstar Mode (PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC only)

• Updated profanity filter process when importing players from EA Sports College Football.
• Fixed an issue where the camera would freeze during League gameplay.
• Fixed text issues in draft cutscenes.

Online H2H ranking

• Fixed an issue where leaderboards could not be sorted by rank or player name.
• Fixed an issue where the ranking summary screen would not display correctly when the user surrendered.
• Fixed an issue where incorrect ranking icons were displayed in the ranking list.
• Fixed an issue where the top 100 rankings were not updated with the correct ranking icon.
• Fixed an issue where users were being set as Bronze or Silver in the divisional leaderboards despite being in placement play or unranked.
