YesAuto UK launches online car purchase platform
Car buying platform YesAuto has officially launched in the UK, aiming to lure car buyers to dealerships through its online stores and car information centers.
YesAuto UK says it wants to connect buyers with individual dealers through the YesAuto UK community to "support customers at every stage of the car buying process."
The site features a customer-rating system that allows prospective buyers to rate cars based on the way they are important to drivers, drawing on the opinions of other drivers.
The platform uses Virtual Reality (VR) 360 Panorama technology to test the driving booking feature, allowing users to see VR internal and external views of the cars they are interested in from their laptop, iPad or mobile device.
Neil You, managing director of YesAuto UK, said: "We know that buying a car is a major investment for many people and that buying a car is often a long and arduous process.
"We want everyone to get excited about every stage of choosing and buying a car, and our website brings everything people need in one place to choose the right car for them.
"Through the site, we are making it as easy as possible to buy a car, while also making the widest range of vehicles available to discerning customers so that they can browse and purchase anywhere and be safe in the knowledge that they are getting a great car. The right price."
Earlier this year, AM took an in-depth look at the explosive growth of the various online automotive products offered in the UK and explored how this very crowded market is affecting retailers.
Yesterday Dominic Corr, account director of professional digital marketing agency Honch, shared his top tips for gaining digital appeal ahead of the crucial September licence plate change month.
YesAuto UK says its platform's behavior-driven algorithm cross-matches customers and their needs with cars and dealers to provide recommendations.
YESAUTO website features:
The 360 Car View tool, which uses virtual reality technology, allows users to see the interior and exterior of the vehicle. With highlighted points, users can click to see information from bumpers to steering wheels, passenger seats to headlights and back seats.
Build your own features, giving buyers the opportunity to tailor the car to their specific needs, from the body and wheels to the interior and seats. The platform then provides users with an estimated price.
A comparison tool that allows individuals to make side-by-side comparisons of any vehicle of their choice.
The site will also offer user reviews, guidance from auto industry experts and a news section.
In addition to the car buying platform, YesAuto says it aims to become an online community to help everyone on the car buying journey.
To celebrate the launch of its car-buying platform, the company will hold a month-long virtual auto show on August 28.
The event, which is free to the public, will bring all the elements of the VR-enabled auto show to life and give visitors real-time access to products offered by dealers.
