I'm on the boat that believes this team truly upgrades the game for Animal Crossing Bells free because they couldn't get everything they wanted done by launching date. I believe other games/publishers might be predatory, for example EA, when they provide dlc prior to the games are launched, in addition to chances to microtransactions.

I believe ACNH had enough time to make it better considering that they started making it in 2012 and postponed the launch from June 2019 to March 2020. I played the game a lot and while I love the capacity of it but I think that the sport is sloppily made and predatory since they pushed greatly for people to get online subscriptions (such as your island is locked on certain colors, if I want something pink I gotta trade) and secured things and recently villagers behind a paywall (you gotta purchase amiboos for Sanrio villagers and items).

The main disappointment is villager dialog and personality, they are basically identical to each other according to personality type and hobby and although some increase on you it's still quite underwhelming. In addition, I believe"Free upgrades" is a weird flex since it implies that we are lucky we don't have to pay for things which honestly must have been there from Animal Crossing Items For Sale the beginning (like more design slots and storage expansions).
