5 Morning Habits Of Highly Successful People
The main rule is that this habit takes a few minutes and, above all, that you still have plenty of time in your morning for the unforeseen.
Remember that we do not want to saturate the morning but to make it better. And do not forget to greet others very good morning as it is really helpful for your relationship just by sharing good morning images, quotes.
Here are some examples of the perfect little habits to start your day:
To meditate
One of the best habits you can adopt as it helps you to improve control over your thoughts and emotions, to concentrate better, and to relax immediately.
All you have to do is sit comfortably, close your eyes, and give your full attention to your breathing for a few minutes.
Read
Many people have the intention of reading more but, during the night the fatigue or the accumulation of slopes make it increasingly difficult to achieve.
Perhaps the key to immersing yourself in the world of reading or learning something new is in your mornings.
Personally, I like to read non-fiction books in the morning, that is, books that help me awaken my creativity throughout the day and help me relax before starting work. Also, if I start with a novel, it is very likely that I will not stop and that my morning routine will be complicated.
Evaluate what motivates you the most to read in the morning, maybe it is not even a book and you would love to read the sports diary.
A personal reflection
A personal reflection can help you have a clear and positive intention to start the day, which will recharge your motivation and confidence before leaving home.
I suggest you do the following, every morning ask yourself: "How do I want to feel about the day?"
This can change according to your plans, for example: if you have an important meeting maybe you want to feel safe, strong and brave, but if you have a meal with colleagues you want to feel friendly and present, can I explain?
If you think about it, just as we choose clothes based on the weather or the event, we should also choose our approach, thoughts, and emotions carefully.
You can also make your own personal reflection with a prayer if you are a believer, a personal affirmation in front of the mirror, or some ritual that helps you feel good to start your activities.
Write or keep a journal
I love writing, it is one of my favorite activities and the truth is that I usually do it not only to publish articles like this but also when I feel overwhelmed or moody.
It is a simple tool that has given me great personal benefits, that is why I highly recommend it.
However, many people simply do not know what to write, so here are some recommendations:
- Write what are you grateful for today? What do you feel personal pride in? or what motivated you today to get out of bed?
- Write how you want to feel during the day? Leave that intention on paper and you will see that your decisions are aligned in that direction
- Write what do you want to focus on today? Many times we are caught up in what we do not want, so this is the perfect time to change our perspective.
- Write what is your # 1 priority of your day?
Plan your day
The morning routine helps us to establish what we want to get out of that day, and thus better control our schedules (instead of our schedule controlling us).
We can take advantage of these minutes at the beginning of the day to better focus on what is in front of us, prioritize our activities, plan and increase our productivity.
You just need your agenda, a task application, or a notebook and make a list of what you owe, plan, or need to do for the rest of the day.
So instead of thinking about what's next as the hours go by, you'll know exactly what to do next to optimize your time.
Being productive helps us to sleep better and, in turn, to have a fresh morning the next day.
