Working at Heights Training in Welland, provided by F.A.S.T. Rescue, is accredited and meets the latest Ontario training standards.
 
Our Working at Heights Training Program adheres to the most recent Ontario training standards. This program equips workers with essential knowledge for the safe use and operation of equipment when working at heights.
 
Upon successful completion, participants will be adept at identifying fall hazards and implementing appropriate safety measures. The course's primary goal is to ensure operators understand their rights and responsibilities, how to work safely and in compliance with regulations, and how to select, inspect, and use industry-standard personal fall arrest equipment, such as harnesses and lanyards.

    • Regulations, enforcement, fines, and penalties
  • Fall Protection System Training: Topics include:
    • Recognizing and addressing fall hazards
    • Working alone and the Hierarchy of Control Measures
    • Regulations for fall prevention
    • Workplace inspections
  • Fall Prevention: Learning about:
    • Guardrails, protective covers, warning barriers, and travel restraint systems
    • Fall protection systems and personal protective equipment
    • Selection, inspection, setup of equipment, and anchor points
    • Emergency rescue procedures and suspension trauma
  • Ladders and Access Equipment: Covering:
    • Ladders, scaffolds, powered elevating work platforms, and suspended access equipment
  • Workplace-Specific Training: Includes:
    • Working at Heights Training in Welland (Approved by the Chief Prevention Officer)

Certificate Granted:
