Working at Heights Training Kitchener by F.A.S.T. Rescue is an approved program designed to meet the latest Ontario training requirements. Our training provides workers in Kitchener, Ontario, with essential knowledge for the safe use and operation of equipment when working at heights.

Course Outline
The course covers the following topics:

The Law: Overview of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and regulations, including roles, rights, responsibilities, safety policies, the Internal Responsibility System, and enforcement measures.

Fall Protection System Training: Understanding fall hazards, how to eliminate them, and the hierarchy of control measures. This includes regulations for fall prevention and conducting workplace inspections.

Fall Prevention: Use of guardrails, protective covers, warning barriers, and travel restraint systems.

Personal Protective Equipment: Selection, inspection, and setup of fall protection equipment and anchor points. The course also covers emergency rescue procedures and suspension trauma.

Ladders and Access Equipment: Safe use of ladders, scaffolds, powered elevating work platforms, and suspended access equipment.
Certification
After completing this 8-hour training session, participants will receive a certificate approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO).

Breaks: The schedule includes several 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. Participants should make their own arrangements for lunch.
