2. Defensive Position Letters: M, R, P, F, and C
During pre-snap, pressing RT/R2 reveals various letters on CFB 25 Coins defenders, each representing a different role:

M (Mike): The Mike defender is a key figure in pass protection schemes. This is the fifth defender that the offensive line will focus on during pass protection. Identifying the Mike defender helps you set up effective blocking strategies.
R (Read Key): The Read Key defender appears in Read Option and RPO plays. This defender’s position helps the quarterback decide whether to hand off the ball or keep it. If the Read Key defender moves towards the quarterback, handing off the ball is generally the better option.
