Geometry Jump: Pre-Release (April 2013)

Geometry Jump served as a prototype for Geometry Dash. The game used to have a level called Ultimate Destruction, but it has been removed. This level included a song called "Ultimate Destruction" by TMM43.

The final game did not include the level because of copyright issues with the song's creator. The level underwent a remix and transformed into what is now recognized as Base After Base, featuring the song Base After Base by DJVI. Robert Topala, the creator of Geometry Dash from RobTop Games, mentioned that there is a possibility of the original level making it into the game, although it is uncertain. Hey, just wanted to point out a small typo in the game. The word "Ultimate" is misspelled as "Ultiate".

Geometry Dash 1.0 was released in August 2013

The initial release of Geometry Dash, known as version 1.0, became available to the public on iOS and Android devices. The game had a total of 7 levels, and each level had its own unique soundtrack. Actually, every level was given a name based on the song that played in it:
Hey, have you heard of the songs "Stereo Madness" by Forever Bound and "Back on Track" by DJVI? They're both really good!
How about "Polargeist" by Step and "Dry Out" by DJVI?
Here are a few songs you might enjoy: - "Base After Base" by DJVI - "Can't Let Go" by DJVI - "Jumper" by Waterflame
The levels in Geometry Dash were made up of only a few objects, serving as the foundation of the game.

Geometry Dash 1.1 was released in October 2013

Geometry Dash's second update introduced a fresh level called Time Machine. In keeping with tradition, it was given the name of the soundtrack for the level created by music artist Waterflame. We've added some new objects to the game, like mirror portals that can completely change the direction of the level. By the way, there's a "lite" version of Geometry Dash that just came out. It only has one level called Stereo Madness.

Geometry Dash 1.2 was released in October 2013

In the third iteration of Geometry Dash, a fresh game mode called Gravity Ball was introduced. This mode allowed players to manipulate gravity simply by tapping the screen. Geometry Dash offered a total of three modes: cube mode, ship/rocket mode, and gravity mode. By the way, the 9th level, Cycles, was introduced with the song Cycles by DJVI. We added Back on Track in the lite version.

Geometry Dash 1.3 was released in November 2013

Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that Version 1.3 of our game has a cool new level called xStep. It's set to the awesome song xStep by DJVI. Enjoy! We added a new feature in this release called the star system. When players finished levels, they were awarded stars. It seems that the game gives out fewer stars for completing easier levels compared to the harder ones.

Geometry Dash 1.4 was released in December 2013

Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that the latest update to Geometry Dash includes a cool new level called Clutterfunk. Waterflame gets it an awesome song called Clutterfunk. So get ready to groove and have a blast! We've just introduced a fresh game mechanic that includes a size portal, allowing players to experience being shrunk.

Geometry Dash 1.5 was released in December 2013

The sixth major update of Geometry Dash introduced a fresh level called Theory of Everything, featuring an incredible title track composed by the talented DJ-Nate. By the way, they also added a new game mode called UFO, where you gain upward velocity with each tap. It seems like this might have been influenced by the game Flappy Bird. By the way, in Theory of Everything, they added purple jump rings that result in smaller jumps compared to the yellow and blue ones. Included in this update was a new rating called "Demon" for custom levels. However, it's worth noting that no Demon levels were created until version 1.6.

Geometry Dash version 1.6 was released in March 2014

In March 2014, the seventh major update to Geometry Dash was released, bringing along with it some exciting new features and two fresh levels to explore. The levels were called Electroman Adventures and Clubstep, and the songs were composed by Waterflame and DJ-Nate, respectively. Did you know that Clubstep holds the distinction of being the very first official Demon level?

One notable change in this update is the inclusion of three hidden coins in each level. Players could collect coins to unlock a variety of icons, ships, balls, and UFOs. In addition, map packs were added, each including three levels per pack. Also, there were some new blocks added in this update that would vanish when the player got close to them.
