Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to identify fall hazards and implement the appropriate safety measures. The primary goal of the course is to ensure that workers understand their rights and responsibilities when working at heights, adhere to regulatory requirements, and correctly select, inspect, and use industry-standard personal fall arrest equipment, including harnesses and lanyards.

Fall Prevention:
  • Guardrails, protective covers, warning barriers (bump lines), and travel restraint systems

Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Fall prevention systems
  • Personal fall protection equipment and components
  • Selection, inspection, and setup of fall protection equipment and anchor points

Emergency Rescue Procedures:
  • Suspension trauma management

Ladders and Access Equipment:
  • Ladders, scaffolds, powered elevating work platforms, and suspended access equipment
  • Workplace-specific training
Training Accreditation: Our Working at Heights Training in Orangeville is approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO). We are an MLITSD Approved Training Provider with ID: PRO-34854, and our Program ID for Working at Heights is WAH-34854.
