RPO Read

Description: This type of RPO offers the quarterback three main choices: hand off the ball to the running back, keep the ball and run it, or keep the ball and pass it.
How It Works: On an RPO Read play, you'll make a decision based on the defense's reaction. If the defensive player designated as the “read key” crashes towards the running back, you’ll keep the ball and either run or pass, depending on the situation.
Example Play: RPO Alert Bubble. The play features a bubble route for a quick pass and a handoff option. The quarterback reads the defensive end to CFB 25 Coins decide whether to hand off or keep the ball.
RPO Glance

Description: Similar to RPO Read, but typically involves a more traditional passing setup after the handoff option.
How It Works: On an RPO Glance play, you start with the option to hand off the ball. If you choose to keep it, you’ll operate from a more standard pocket and can pass or scramble.
Example Play: RPO Glance Slant. This play involves a slant route as a passing option and a handoff choice. After deciding to keep the ball, you can either pass or scramble based on the defense’s reaction.
RPO Walk

Description: This RPO type extends the handoff window, allowing the quarterback to hold the ball longer before making a decision.
How It Works: RPO Walk plays let you keep the ball in the running back’s stomach for a longer period. This gives you more time to assess the defense before deciding to hand off or pass.
Example Play: RPO Walk Delay. The quarterback holds the ball longer to cheap CFB 25 Coins better read the defense and then makes a decision based on the defenders’ movements.
