Steps you need to follow so as to reset the router:

• 1. Connect Linksys router and the computer system that you will use to reset through an Ethernet cable. One end of the cable is connected to the router and another end to the computer system.
• 2. Launch a web browser like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and type myrouter.local in the address bar at the top of the browser window. Then press the enter key.
• 3. Enter the username and password you have set for the Linksys router in the respective fields and click on the login button or press enter.
• 4. After this, go for the Administration Option.
• 5. Choose the factory default option here to successfully reset the Linksys router to default factory settings.
