MK Sports – Early morning on July 10th, the first semi-final of the European Championship kicked off with a thrilling showdown between Spain and France. In a match filled with excitement, Spain emerged victorious with a 2-1 win, securing their spot in the finals.

The game started with both teams going on the offensive. In the 9th minute, Kylian Mbappé, unmasked and on the left wing, delivered a cross that Randal Kolo Muani headed home, giving France an early lead. This goal marked France’s first from open play in this year’s European Championship.

However, France’s lead was short-lived. In the 21st minute, Spain’s young talent Lamine Yamal received the ball outside the penalty area and launched a stunning left-footed shot. The ball curved beautifully in the air, soaring over French goalkeeper Mike Maignan and landing in the top corner, equalizing the score for Spain. This was Yamal’s first goal in the European Championship, and at 16 years and 362 days old, he became the youngest goal scorer in the tournament’s history. His impressive performance at such a young age suggests a promising future.

Less than three minutes after Yamal’s goal, a cross from the right was poorly cleared by the French defense, landing at the feet of Dani Olmo. Olmo calmly maneuvered past the defenders and struck a powerful shot, which deflected into the net, putting Spain ahead 2-1.

In the second half, despite France’s persistent attacks, Spain managed to control the tempo of the game, maintaining their 2-1 lead until the final whistle, thus advancing to the finals.

Spain will find out their opponent for the final tomorrow morning. On July 11th at 3 AM, the other semi-final will see the Netherlands face off against England. Football fans, don’t miss it!
