If one wanted to alter their curtain and RuneScape gold carpet colours after altering his / her family crest, he or she could simply go back to varrock into the secretary. Simply speak to him, and ask to get all your curtains and rugs altered to the colours of your family crest. The guy would answer'Certainly', and request a fee to provide the service. The fee would be 5000 gold per area. An individual couldn't have different colors per area; this could merely make it easier for the coding of the update and for shorter loading times when making the house.

However, since changing one's colours and changing the family crest are two distinct actions, it would be possible to have a combination of colors of a single crest and possess the actual crest be different. Last, rooms which are built after the crest and / or colors are changed will match the current colours of the house, maybe not the crest of the house.
