The machinability rating of our Alloy X Coil Wire is 27 %, where slow speeds, positive feeds and rigid equipment are the order of the day. 

Alloy X Wire has low hardness, good ductility and good weldability, making the metal easy to fabricate. Our Alloy X Wire has a low work – hardening rate, but it may be cold worked to moderately high strength levels while maintaining ductility.
