Mercedes Benz C-Class Engine Specifications

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes with two types of engines: a small turbocharged petrol one and a larger diesel one. The petrol engine is 1.5 litres and has four cylinders, while the diesel one is 2.0 litres and also has four cylinders.

The petrol engine, called the C200, can produce 201 horsepower and 300 Newton-meters of torque. The diesel engine comes in two versions: the C220d and C300d. No matter which engine you choose, they all come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
