The Privilege Ayurveda resort opened its doors on the 27th of September 2001 coinciding with the “World Tourism Day” and has been in operation since. Over the years the Ayurveda resort has been the chosen destination for authentic Ayurveda treatment and holiday for thousands of guest from all over the world and some prominent personalities in entertainment and politics both in Sri Lankan and Europe.

The hotel owned and managed by Asien Reisen Pvt Ltd, a company with focus in the health & wellness industry. The company is fully owned by a carrier hotelier turned entrepreneur, Chairman  F.H.C.I.M.A (UK). A veteran in hospitality with over 25 years of experience in international hotels and education in several prestigious universities including General Managers Programme at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He was awarded a fellowship by the Hotel Catering Institute of Management, UK for the service rendered to the hospitality industry. Combined his vast experience and innovative thinking in setting up the unique property. It has been his primary objective to have well trained staff who can offer a very personalized consistent service to the valued guest who stay with us at The Privilege.
