Honda Shine Engine Specifications

The Honda Shine a popular commuter motorcycle, boasts a modest yet efficient powertrain. Under its sleek exterior lies a single-cylinder engine with a displacement of approximately 123.94 cubic centimeters. This engine is air-cooled, meaning it relies on the flow of air to maintain an optimal operating temperature.

Paired with this engine is a 5-speed gearbox, offering versatility for various riding conditions. This gearbox allows riders to smoothly transition between gears, ensuring an optimal balance of power and efficiency.

When the throttle is twisted, the engine responds by delivering power to the wheels. At 7,500 revolutions per minute (rpm), the engine produces a maximum power output of 10.74 horsepower (PS), providing ample acceleration for city commutes and highway cruising alike. Additionally, at 6,000 rpm, the engine generates a peak torque of 11 Newton-meters (Nm), which translates to strong pulling power, particularly at lower speeds and during initial acceleration.
