Hero Glamour Engine Specifications
The Hero Glamour, a popular motorcycle, has been upgraded with a new engine that complies with BS6 emission norms, ensuring it's more environmentally friendly. This engine is a 125cc powerhouse paired with a smooth 5-speed transmission, providing riders with a seamless and efficient riding experience.
When you twist the throttle, this engine delivers a respectable output of 10.83 horsepower, giving you the power you need for your daily commute or weekend adventures. Additionally, it generates a torque of 10.6 Newton-meters, allowing for swift acceleration and effortless maneuvering through traffic or winding roads.
With this updated powertrain, the Hero Glamour promises not just a ride, but an enjoyable and reliable journey every time you hit the road.
Hero Glamour Features
Hero has upgraded the Glamour with a cool digital console. This console shows important stuff like how far you've driven (odometer), how fast you're going (speedometer), and even how efficient your ride is (real-time mileage). Plus, they've added a handy mobile charging port, so you can juice up your phone on the go.
But wait, there's more! The Glamour now has some awesome features you won't find in other bikes in its class. It's got Bluetooth, so you can connect your phone to it. That means you can use turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps right from your bike! There's also a gear position indicator, so you always know which gear you're in.
Safety-wise, the Glamour is top-notch. It's got a bank angle sensor that can shut off the engine if you take a spill. And if you forget to put the side stand up, no worries – the engine will cut off automatically to prevent any accidents.
On top of all that, the Glamour comes with a bright LED headlight, which is a step up from the standard version. And if you're all about style, you'll love that it comes in four cool colors: Sports Red, Tornado Grey, Techno Blue, and Radiant Red.
Hero Glamour Suspension and Brakes
The Hero Glamour has a new kind of frame called a diamond-type frame. This frame is connected to a front fork that you can adjust called a telescopic front fork, and it also has two shock absorbers at the back. With these changes, the bike can now move up and down more smoothly. It can go 14 per cent farther down at the front and 10 per cent farther down at the back.
In the basic version of the Glamour, the brakes are made of a 240mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the back. This means it can stop quickly and safely. The distance between the ground and the bottom of the bike, called ground clearance, is now 180mm, which is 30mm higher than before. This makes it easier to ride over bumps and rough roads.
You can also choose to add a disc brake to the front of the bike if you want. The back tire of the bike is now wider, with a width of 100mm, and it stops using a drum brake. This means you have good control over the bike and can stop safely when needed.
