According to Amazon, the Echo Frames weigh 31 grams. Hence, it is very light in weight. It is available in three color variants – modern tortoise, horizon blue, and classic black. Amazon Echo Frames is splash resistant. The material science working behind the smart glass is TR-90, carbon fiber, and titanium. Therefore, the materials used to design the body gives the frames high stiffness, strength, and corrosion resistance. According to Amazon, this usage is at most 40 interactions with Alexa, 45 minutes of audio playback, receiving 90 notifications over 14 hours with 60% volume, and 20 minutes of cellular calls. If the user is a music lover, Amazon Echo Frames can provide an audio listening service for three hours continuously at 60% volume.

Because there are two players in the smart glasses market, Bose has the edge over Amazon on the grounds of pricing as it comes at 80% of Echo Frames’ cost. Also, the iPhone and iPad users cannot go for the Amazon Echo Frame due to its non-functionality and incompatibility.
